The Organization of the ARVN Armored Forces

The ARVN armored forces were organized into three armored brigades. Each brigade consisted of three tank battalions, one armored cavalry squadron, and one self-propelled artillery battalion. The tank battalions were equipped with M41 Walker Bulldog tanks, while the armored cavalry squadrons were equipped with M113 armored personnel carriers.

The ARVN armored forces were supported by a number of other units, including engineer, signal, and medical units. The ARVN also had a small number of helicopter units that were used to transport troops and supplies.
